Welcome to the

Hmong Language and Cultural Enrichment Program

Shaping our next generation of leaders- by developing strong, cultural identities to address and bridge the academic achievement gap.

According to the 2013 Madison Metropolitan School District's (MMSD) Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (WKCE) test scores, 93% of our Hmong students were reading below grade level, while 74% of them were performing below grade level for mathematics skills.

In response to these alarming academic statistics about how our Hmong students were academically performing, the Hmong Language and Cultural Enrichment Program was created to address this issue.
